Project Overview
This Colington wet room remodel in Edinburgh was a full bathroom refurbishment designed to modernise an outdated layout into a sleek, barrier‑free wet room. The original bathroom had a traditional shower enclosure with limited waterproofing and dated finishes. Our goal was to maximise space, improve accessibility, and bring in premium plumbing, electrical, gas, and joinery services for a complete project from design to installation.
Our Solutions
We started with a comprehensive strip‑out, removing the old shower tray and materials, then fully tanked the floor and walls with a high-grade waterproofing system. Underfloor heating was installed to complement the new tiling, driven by our certified plumbing team. Gas Safe engineers repositioned the boiler to clear space. Our NICEIC‑certified electricians reconfigured lighting: recessed LED downlights, mirror illumination, and an extractor fan on a dedicated circuit. Custom joinery included a bespoke wet‑proof floating shelving for storage. This full bathroom renovation seamlessly integrated tiling, plumbing, electrics, and woodwork into a high‑spec wet room.
