Project Overview
In a bright flat on Easter Road, Leith, we transformed a modest, outdated bathroom into a stylish modern shower enclosure. The homeowners sought a more open, practical arrangement with contemporary aesthetics. After carefully removing the old fixtures, the space was reconfigured to accommodate an enhanced shower area, full plumbing, electrics, Gas Safe-installed heating, waterproofing, tiling, and custom storage solutions.
Our Solutions
We began by removing every original element—bath, shower cubicle, tiling, plumbing, and wiring—down to the bare substrate. Upgraded plumbing incorporated a thermostatic mixer valve for consistent temperature and pressure. Certified Gas Safe engineers linked the heated towel rail to the boiler. Our electricians installed soft LED downlights and a humidity-responsive extractor on a dedicated circuit. Porcelain tiles with a matte next to natural marble tiles, while a frameless glass screen maintains sightlines. The finishing touch: a wall-mounted vanity with concealed storage and a recessed niche for toiletries.
