Project Overview
Nestled within the leafy residential streets of Newington, Edinburgh, this bathroom transformation refreshed a compact, outdated suite into a polished, contemporary space. The original layout felt cramped and lacked warmth, featuring worn fixtures and subpar lighting. Our aim was to deliver an all-inclusive bathroom installation—encompassing plumbing, gas, electrical, waterproofing, and bespoke joinery.
Our Solutions
We began with a comprehensive strip-out, removing the old bath, sink, tiles, and redundant pipework. Then, our team fully tanked the wet zones using high-performance waterproof membranes. Plumbing upgrades included installing a modern mixer bath-shower system, repositioning valves, and connecting a designer heated towel. NICEIC-qualified electricians rewired the space, introducing recessed LED downlights, and a silent extractor fan on its own circuit. Custom cabinetry comprised a moisture-resistant vanity unit with soft-close drawers and a recessed niche for bottles and toiletries. The finishing touches: stone-effect porcelain floor tiles paired with subtle walltiling, exuding understated sophistication.
