Bathroom Installation – Barnton, Edinburgh .
Project Overview
Set in the tranquil Barnton area, this bathroom installation updated a dated family bathroom into a refined, fully functional space. The original layout had a standard bathtub, basic fixtures, and no integrated storage. The aim was to provide a full bathroom refurbishment—covering plumbing, , electrical upgrades, waterproofing, tiling, and bespoke joinery.
Our Solutions
Our team began with a complete gut of the old suite: removal of the bath, sink, floor finishings, and redundant services. We then applied a robust waterproof tanking system to the wet zones. The plumbing upgrade included installing a modern bath‑shower mixer, repositioning valves for better ergonomics, and integrating a heated towel rail connected to the central heating system. Our electricians added recessed LED downlights, and a silent extractor fan on its own circuit. We crafted a custom moisture-resistant vanity unit with soft-close drawers and integrated shelving. The finishing touches were elegant mosaic tiles and a black frame shower screen, resulting in a fresh, hotel-style bathroom.
